Wooden wicks burn much cleaner, and while they don't get the carbon build-up that needs to be trimmed off of cotton wicks. Crackling wood wick soy candles offer a maintenance free candle that doesn't require trimming wicks. Wood wicks naturally burn down to the bottom right along with the soy wax. Because Soy wax burns slower than other waxes, you'll get about 25 hours burn time from my soy candles.
A wooden wick will heat your wax more evenly, helping you to achieve a more even burn over time. This is beneficial in a couple of different ways.
